The campus of the District Institute of Education & Training -DIET Koraput is locatedin Koraput Odisha. Theinstitution can bereached eitherbyrail orbyroad. The mission of the DIET Koraput is to contribute to nation and society at the highest international levels of excellence and to stand on the same scaffold with other universities of eminence.

District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Koraput is a district level institution for academic guidanceofthe school education at all stages. It is relatedto all stakeholders ofthe education as-well-as students and teachers community.
The institution is now going to functioning step by step in all aspect of educational areas of grassroots level for upliftment of educational scenario of the district. DIET was the productof new education policy 1986. The recent policy of education 2020 also envisaged its importance of the educational field.
The main objectives of the institution are provide quality academic guidance and support to the school and resource support to the stake holder for greater educational benefit of the students, teachers and other functionaries. The institution also imparting various training programme for all concerned functionaries in the said district. We the institution in block and cluster level also can perform various social awareness activities which can help society for congenial environment of the district.
The institution will try to solve the academic and school related problems by undertaken action research and study time to time whenever situation arises and feel necessities. The DIET will try to make all possible steps towards fulfilment the aspiration of the district with its jurisdiction and do all things in responsible manner.
Faculties and principal with due helps of the district authority as well as state authority carry forward and extend all sorts of works for academic achievement and other activities for betterment of the district in near future.
